Matt Duggan

Matt has written numerous screenplays, including The Devil of Appalachia. Matt’s first short film, Tag, which he wrote and directed, won Best Picture at the 2006 WIFF. Written By, a short film horror-thriller that Matt co-wrote with Trevor Boelter, has experienced great success on the film festival circuit, including “Audience Award-Winner” at the 2010 Wizard World Festival; “Winner” at the 2010 New York City Horror Film Festival; and “Best Horror Comedy Nominee” at the 2010 Dragon*Con.

Matt is also the creator/writer/director of Man Vs., a serial online comedy about a prankster who fakes deaths that annoy his roommate (www.manvsfilms.com). Man Vs. has been viewed more than 2 million times, has been featured on YouTube, Crackle.com and Veoh.com, and has won numerous awards, honors and prizes, including a distribution deal with Atom Films. The episode Man Vs. Dragon appeared on Comedy Central Network’s “Atom TV” program in the spring of 2008.

At the start of 2011, Matt launched a new web series called Not Suitable For Work (“NSFW”) that is quickly gaining attention and traction. Matt has occasionally dipped into the advertising world, most recently writing two web-based, stop animation commercials for Carl’s Jr. Matt graduated from Boston College with a double major in English and Communications. He is also a graduate of the prestigious Meisner Two-Year Acting Program at the Meisner Center in North Hollywood, CA. There he wrote, directed and acted for the stage, eventually running their Writers’ Circle. Matt’s first play false positive, and produced by Stephanie Bell, played to critical acclaim: “Duggan delivers a harrowing denouement that is fittingly arbitrary, much like the disease his play treats.”- Los Angeles Times. Matt’s one-act play ‘Irish Spirits’ was selected for Edward Albee’s Last Frontier Theater Conference in 2003, a career highlight.

Josh Wingate

Josh Wingate’s flourishing acting career is a dazzling reflection of his consummate preparation, an abiding respect for the craft, and an enduring passion for discovery. With leading man’s appeal and a character actor’s instincts, Wingate artfully dismantles our traditional notion of “type.” In doing so, he frees himself to move effortlessly from one role to the next, illuminating the human condition in all of its power and vulnerability. In a few short years, Wingate has steadily earned a notable resume, including memorable guest-starring roles on primetime series including, the Peabody Award-winning FX series JUSTIFIED, ABC’s CASTLE, CBS’ CSI: NY, and Showtime’s DEXTER.
Wingate’s impressive recurring role as Carter, an inmate who sexually assaults a fellow prisoner (played by Chad Duell) on ABC’s GENERAL HOSPITAL, garnered him a 2011 Soap Opera Spirit Award nomination. The groundbreaking storyline marked the first time daytime television had ever addressed the taboo issue of male survivors of sexual violence.

On the big screen, Wingate has appeared opposite Paul Bettany in Scott Charles Stewart’s PRIEST. Wingate just wrapped Marc Forster’s WORLD WAR Z (starring Brad Pitt) as well as the indie feature INVERSE, his first lead role in a feature film.

Born in Colorado, Wingate was raised in Massachusetts. At the age of 15, he stepped on a stage for the first time and knew he was home. Wingate worked steadily in local and regional theater productions and starred in BAY STATE, the longest-running college soap opera, before relocating to Los Angeles. A skilled martial arts expert, Wingate continues to train regularly. He is privileged to lend his time and talent to causes ranging from youth mentoring to health and wellness.

Sitting Duck

Sitting Duck is a student project about an ex-hit man that must save his wife from his prior boss. Unless Daniel completes the job assigned to him, he may never see his wife again. This adventure short takes the audience on a ride through fear, action, and suspense as Daniel tries to reach his wife while keeping his trail clean.
