Giselle Woo and The Night Owls

Giselle Woo & The Night Owls is a Coachella Valley band formed in the desert scene in late 2011. Their sound is heavily influenced by raw desert rock, classic Mexican love ballads, surf pop and basically anything that moves and motivates front-woman Giselle Woo—a singer/songwriter born June 15, 1985 in Palm Springs, CA. She brings to the table her ideas and songs, the Night Owls then help mold these beautiful rough drafts into musical master pieces.
The Night Owls consists of David Macias, Erik Mouness and Andy Gorrill.
David will captivate you with his choice of weapon, whether it be a sexy nylon or his electric telecaster, his melodies and solos are jaw dropping. Him and Giselle have been playing music for many years, their friendship is felt by witnessing them on stage.
Erik Mouness is a beast on drums, his metal influence brings a rough touch to Giselle’s sensitive side that just meshes well together, he’s such a treat to watch and an even tastier treat to listen to.
Andy Gorrill, holds the bass down just right. You will see him slapping on a stand up and for the more rock n roll tunes he executes on electric bass like a wild pro. This act is great to watch live, you never know what you’re going to get with them. All you need to know is that it is always a class act show. This band owns the stage like they were born on it.
Giselle Woo & The Night Owls enjoy performing together and it shows. Just a friendly reminder, you will go on an emotional roller coaster ride with Giselle as she pours her heart out on the spotlight. She writes in the moment and, well, just as life is unexpected, so is her music.
